Charity Networking Event in Chichester: Purple Day at Goodwood with ODT Solicitors
Each year on March 26th, Purple Day is held by the Epilepsy Society to raise awareness of epilepsy and to encourage as many people as possible to support this important cause. At ODT Solicitors, we wanted to create an event that would raise awareness, funds and bring people together. So we hosted a charity networking event for local businesses and professionals in aid of the Epilepsy Society at the stunning Kennels at Goodwood in Chichester.
The setting couldn’t have been more perfect. With the sun making a welcome appearance, we were lucky enough to spill out onto the beautiful terrace and enjoy the fresh spring air. It made for a picturesque backdrop to what became a memorable afternoon of connection, laughter, and generosity.
We were delighted to welcome both familiar faces and new guests, and the feedback we’ve received has been overwhelmingly positive. Several attendees have since told us they made valuable new connections, which is exactly what we hoped this event would facilitate.
After guests enjoyed a welcome drink and canapés, we kicked things off with a light-hearted and lively game of “Get to Know You Bingo”—a true crowd-pleaser! It sparked plenty of conversations, laughter, and even a few surprising revelations. It was a great icebreaker and helped set the tone for a relaxed and friendly afternoon.

Thank You to Our Chichester Business Community
As the official event drew to a close, a few of us stayed on for drinks at the bar. It turns out we might’ve overstayed our welcome just a little—we were the last to leave, and we’re fairly sure the bar staff were eager to clock off!
To everyone who attended, donated, connected, and contributed: thank you. This event wouldn’t have been possible without your support. We’re proud to be part of such a generous and engaged West Sussex community.
